Owing much to the rapid advancement in DNA sequencing technology, it has now become possible to obtain a large amount of highly accurate nucleotide sequence data in a relatively short period of time.

To rapidly and accurately determine the genome sequence of an organism using the large amount of sequence data obtained and investigate the genetic information encoded there, a large-scale computational capacity including high-performance servers and a computer network are necessary. In our facility, we maintain and manage our computer systems for efficient processing of data obtained from DNA sequencers. Also, we have installed latest analysis software to provide researchers with an excellent computing environment.
