Ordering Information of Kazusa Plant cDNA clones Background
As a result of years of dedicated analysis of various plant genomes, Kazusa DNA Research Institute (KDRI) has collected the following EST clones, and desires to distribute them to the research communities. The EST clones are available from our bio-resources with minimal costs such as distribution fees and other costs based on beneficiaries-pay principle.

Distribution Fee
The following chart indicates distribution fees. Sliding discounts per annual volume are applicable. We will make sure your aggregated yearly volume and also make sure the appropriate distribution fee based on the discount table. We will send you an invoice by e-mail as an acknowledgement of your clone request.

Fulfilling your request and shipping charges
The standard lead time of the fulfillment of your order is 2-4 weeks upon receipt of your request. We are using
Japan Post's EMS service to ship those EST clone(s). Handling and shipping charges are subject to regions, that are incremental to the distribution fee.

If you wish to use other courier services, we can make such arrangements as requested but at requesters cost. You may also have to pay any applicable local taxes.
Payment
Payment shall be made in JP¥ by wire transfer or check payable to Kazusa DNA Research Institute. Please complete payment prior to shipment. (It used to be an annual payment for the total requested clones in the previous year. Since September 2011, Kazusa has changed the process to a transaction base payment.)
If you pay by wire transfer, be sure to add bank charges of 3,000 JP¥ on top of distribution fees and handling and shipping charges. You must follow instructions on the invoice in order to pay by wire transfer.
If you pay by check, also be sure to add bank charges of 3,000 JP¥ on top of distribution fees and handling and shipping charges. Please include invoice number and mail the check to:
