Ordering Information of Kazusa Plant cDNA clones Background
As a result of dedicated analyses of various plant genomes, Kazusa DNA Research Institute (KDRI) has collected the following EST and full-length cDNA clones and desires to distribute them to the research community both in academia and in industry. The EST clones and full-length cDNA clones are available from us with the distribution fees and costs based on beneficiaries-pay principle.

Clone Request Form and Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)
Complete the
Clone Request Form (in
Japanese) on line. Your online acceptance of the MTA will send your Clone Request Form to us. KDRI takes the claimant information seriously. We are committed to safeguarding the user information, and we will not disclose any of them unless we have your consent.
Distribution Fee
The following chart indicates distribution fees. Sliding discounts per annual volume are applicable. Upon receipt of your Clone Request Form, we will make sure your aggregated yearly volume and also make sure the appropriate distribution fee based on the discount table. We will send you an invoice by e-mail as an acknowledgement of your clone request.

Fulfilling your request and shipping charges
The standard lead time of the fulfillment of your order is 2-4 weeks upon receipt of your request. We are using
Japan Post's EMS service to ship those EST and full-length cDNA clone(s). Handling and shipping charges are subject to regions, that are incremental to the distribution fee.

If you wish to use other courier services, we can make such arrangements as requested but at requesters cost. You may also have to pay any applicable local taxes.
Payment
Payment shall be made in JPY by credit card or wire transfer or check payable to Kazusa DNA Research Institute. Please complete payment prior to shipment. (It used to be an annual payment for the total requested clones in the previous year. Since September 2011, KDRI has changed the process to a transaction base payment.)
If you pay by credit card, our e-commerce agent (NTT Data Cubit) can take Visa or Master Card. You will be led to NTT Data Cubit's settlement page for payment.
If you pay by wire transfer, be sure to add bank charges of 3,000 JPY on top of distribution fees and handling and shipping charges. You must follow instructions on the invoice in order to pay by wire transfer.
If you pay by check, also be sure to add bank charges of 3,000 JPY on top of distribution fees and handling and shipping charges. Please include invoice number and mail the check to:

We ship EST clones dissolved in TE. The full-length cDNA clones are shipped in the form of dried plasmid.
