TAC Position Viewer

Arabidopsis TAC Position Viewer is an application tool to find the Arabidopsis genomic TAC clones that are precisely mapped to Arabidopsis chromosomes. By using this application tools, TAC clones that are located on a certain region of interest can be found by searching via keywords such as clone names and AGI code or browsing the chromosomes on the Viewer. The ready-to-go transformable TAC clones are a useful resource that can be directory introduced into the Arabidopsis or other plant genome via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. The TAC library, consisting of more than ten thousand TAC clones, is available from The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR). Individual TAC clones are available from the TAC clone distribution page of RIKEN BRC.


System requirements:

A GUI environment of a PC that installed Java runtime environment (version 6 or later) is required to run the tool. The tools is tested on the following PCs.

  • Windows: 7 (64 bit), Java 1.7.0 update 51 (64 bit)
  • MacOSX: MacOS 10.9.5 (64 bit), Java 1.8.0 update 40 (64 bit)
  • Linux: CentOS 5.5 (32 bit), Java 1.8.0 update 40 (32 bit)
