Laboratory of Clinical Omics Research

The principal role of Department of Applied Genomics is to transform the scientific achievements established through the wide range of research activities at our institute into those that may be implemented as practical applications in the public sector. Within this context, our laboratory consists of two teams described below to provide broad supports to the society by making full use of advanced omics technologies and challenges to solve various clinical problems deeply associated with our daily health care. Clinical Analysis Team aims to develop genomic, proteomic and metabolomic technologies for efficient analysis of clinical samples so as to establish their useful applications in clinical fields, while DNA Sequencing Team assists researchers in various fields of basic science by aiding them with our specialty of sophisticated DNA sequencing technologies.
